Meet The Team

Nigel Wordingham
BA, FCA, CTA
It was 1987 when Nigel decided to establish his own practice after many years of finance and accounting experience. Qualifying in 1978, he went on to join the Institute of Taxation while working for a local firm, before taking up a position at Ernst and Young, where he became head of the Norwich tax department.
Since going it alone Nigel has steadily grown the practice ever since and these days brings his considerably experience and expertise to overseeing the output of his highly-skilled team.
When he's not hard at work Nigel is an avid and award winning sailor, as well as Treasurer of the Norwich Rotary Club.

Betty Wordingham
The backbone of the practice, Betty has been an integral part of the firm since day one. Her role encompasses office administration, managing workflow, bookkeeping, HR and arranging client meetings. During her free time Betty likes to relax with pilates, swimming and a spot of gardening.

Lorraine Hammond
BSc, ACA, CTA
Lorraine came to us over a decade ago as an intern during her BSc in accounting and we've hung onto her ever since. Gaining her Chartered qualifications in 2004, she went on to win an award for outstanding performance in the 2009 Chartered Tax Adviser exams. Lorraine specialises in charities, solicitor's accounts and personal taxation. Away from the office she enjoys badminton and learning the guitar, as well as finding time to act as treasurer of a local youth charity.

Stewart Davey
AAT, ACA
Following a life-long passion for numbers, Stewart joined us in 2001 and soon achieved his Accounting Technician qualification. Not a man to rest on his laurels, he moved straight onto his Chartered Accountancy training, qualifying in 2007. Our resident expert on Trusts and PAYE related matters, Stewart's also a talented batsman and can be found most weekends on the grounds of Sprowston Cricket Club.
Zak Smith
Trainee
Zak is the newest member of the team, he joined the company in July 2011 after getting great A-level results including an A star in maths. Zak went to the Norwich School and then on to sixth form at CNS. He has started his AAT which he hopes to complete in two years. Outside the office Zak enjoys playing the classical guitar and loves nothing more than a good cricket match in the summer months.
